Rohtang Pass: Rohtang Pass is undoubtedly one of the most popular scenic spots of Manali. It is a high Pass at an elevation of 3978m(13051ft) and is 51km away from Manali. It connects Kullu Valley with the Lahual and Spiti valley of Himachal Pradesh and offers spectacular views making it very famous amongst the tourists. The pass remains closed in winters(Oct) as it becomes difficult to reach the pass due to heavy snow. It generally opens again in May.
Vashisht Village: Few kilometers away from Manali, lies a small village which is famous for hot mineral springs. Located in the famous Vashisht Temple, these natural springs are believed to be medicinal.
