Beas Kund Trek

Beas Kund trek is picturesque trek which gives spectacular views of Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal mountain ranges. As per folklores, Sage Vyas, the author of Mahabharata, meditated here. That is why, this lake (Kund) is named after Rishi Vyas. The trail to Beas Kund takes you through high altitude meadows of Bakarthach, literally means Shepherd’s field. The trek starts from Solang Nallah, which is a well known skiing training spot and a favorite destination for tourists who want to witness.

Day 01: Manali – Solang

Meals:   Lunch & Dinner

  • Scenic drive to Solang Nalaah.
  • Acclimatization trek to the sacred Anjani-Mahadev Temple, famous for its Ice Shivalingam.
  • Rest & stay in camp.

 

Day 02: Solang – Bakarthach trek (3,500m)

Meals:  Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

  • Early morning trek to Bakarthach.
  • Team building/fun activities
  • Rest & stay in camp.

 

Day 03: Bakarthach – Beaskund – Bakarthach  (4000m)

Meals:  Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

  • Early morning trek to the sacred Beas Kund lake.
  • Enjoy the majestic view of mountain ranges around.
  • Trek back to Bakarthach campsite.

 

Day 04: Back to Manali via Solang

Meals:  Breakfast

  • Early morning trek to Solang.
  • Drive back from Solang to Manali
